The faces of Leicester Market: My final photography project

So, after 10 weeks, my photography course has come to an end and I’ve finished my final project. Here are my final 12 pictures – all taken on a Saturday at Leicester Market. I originally wanted to do a project that allowed me to practice all the different skills I’ve learned, and took more than 200 pics of fruit, veg, clothes and all sorts of other things, but when it came to looking back at them it was the ones of people that I was really drawn to. As I walked round the market I was struck by how friendly everyone was – even when I was sticking my camera in their face- and hopefully these pictures manage to capture some of those colourful characters.
